I did not make it

Well I did not make the two craft fairs I had booked. The main road was like an ice rink and I nearly had a car hit me side on, so as the Police were directing traffic around a Lorry I decided to try a different route.I then had a car that could not stop go into my back.At that point enough was enough so I went Home.I am O.K. and so is the car all ready for another day.

Mrs Tiggywinkle

July was a very busy month for Craft Fairs so to-day I thought I should get to tidy the garden.I managed to weed around my pond and near a rotting plank of wood. The wood made a false bridge at one end of the pond.Whilst clearing I came a cross what looked like a nest, not knowing who made the nest I careful starting to remove some of the died grass and to my surprise I found a Hedgehog curled up a sleep. So I replaced the grass and will see if it comes out to-night.I have ordered a Hedgehog house to get to-morrow along with some food.

Fabric Creations

I just love to make things from fabric so some years ago I joined a local Patchwork and Quilting group. The idea of making different patterns by cutting fabric and putting it back together I find fascinating. There is a lot of history to some of the patterns and most started in England and were taken with the Pilgrims when they went to America. They then formed there own patterns using fabric they had to hand.
