I did not sew to-day

It was such a sunny day I decided it was time to get outside and tidy the garden.The Snowdrops and Aconites are coming in to flower so spring is not far off.The whole time I was digging I had the song from a little fellow with a red breast.He can just be seen in the Silver Birch tree.I have seen more birds to-day than yesterday when I did the Big Bird count.I think we will have another frost to-night but hopefully tomorrow will be fine.More digging to be done.

Time for Tea

The tea cosies I made some time ago.I then decided to make the coasters followed by the place mats that I finished yesterday.The coaster are made by folding the fabric so that a glass stem can be twisted in to keep it in place on the glass foot.

As the weather is overcast to day I will loook at starting a girls quilt.The length of time it takes means as the Craft Fairs do not start until March I can get stock made befor hand.

Bags

Three bags I have made for the Sunflower Girls to see if thy would like any of them for there new site.

If not I will have them for sale in March when I start going to Craft Fairs again.I hope no one asks for the patters as I did not make one.That way thy are all exclusive.

New Year

I thought I had better start sewing again as I have a few things to do.I have been asked to make some Sunflower themed handbags for a new site starting at the end of the month.The sit is anything to do with SUNFLOWERS.I have already made some cushion covers for them.
I wish them luck.

End of the year

We have just had the last craft fair of the year in the Attleborough Town Hall.The weather was not very kind as the pavements were icy.The next years fairs have been booked starting in March,date to follow.
There are still fairs going on that the crafters will be going to so we will all meet before Christmas.

I have just made this apron to go with the tea cosy and place mats I made earlier.

I did not make it

Well I did not make the two craft fairs I had booked.The main road was like an ice rink and I nearly had a car hit me side on, so as the Police were directing traffic around a Lorry I decided to try a different route.I then had a car that could not stop go into my back.At that point enough was enough so I went Home.I am O.K. and so is the car all ready for another day.

snow

We have about 2" of snow and it is still adding more.I am due to go to Eaton near Norwich to-morrow and take my latest table center.

Sunday it is of to Hadleigh in Suffolk weather permitting.

Hear are the new bags

Two new bags I will be taking to to Holt.The multi coloured one is 10"

x 10" and will hold a large amount when ties are undone.The cat one will hold an A4 folder.Both are a good size.
