Wayland Agricultural Show

 Two new makes for Wayland show this Sunday. A Kindle cover and a small coin purse .




I will also be raffling this quilt , the last two went well. This way I get the money for the quilt and somebody gets a real bargain . If all the number's do not go on Sunday we have our craft fair in the Town Hall on Thursday so I can sell more then .There will be   STORRY TIME  with author and illustrator of   Giraffe in a Scarf     and   Goat in a Coat .  For children 3yrs and up.

The colour is not quit right .

 

 

We have had terrific thunder storms to day so I am hopping the field the show is on will b dry for Sunday. Last years show was cancelled due to the field being flooded due to an Anglian Waters pump failure .  This Show has been going for 140 yrs.


I have been doing a bit of teaching over the past few weeks , Putting a concealed zip and pocket for a bag, Young Quilters and log cabin in a circle, after taking a Friends place on a workshop as she was not well, I then taught her how it as done.   I think it is time to stop this and go to bed as I have more swing to do to morrow.

Washed out before it started

Wayland Show was called off Saturday night due to a flooded field that got contaminated A bit disappointing as so much money is raised for charity. I had got one step ahead by loading my car so as not to wake the people living next door.  My  next day is Thursday in Attlebrough our usual monthly Craft Fair.  I now have a  few days to sew...........

A bundle of Bags

I have just been making bags ready for Sunday at Wayland Show and two will be ready for Apple Day in October.

   Wayland show   is one of the largest agricultural show in Norfolk U.K.

I just hope the weather will not stop people coming as there are lots of this going on in the show rings

There is not much chance for me to see anything as I have no one to mind my stall.

I am hoping for some good sales and have all ready had an order via the internet to be collected there.

Last week the bag with wellington boots and watering cans went to a new home through the post.

I might try internet sales can anyone recommend a site???

The Sun has got his hat on .....................

 I just love it when I can start eating things from the garden.This the first, along with new potatoes for my dinner.I have now netted the blueberry's but not the raspberry's as thy are latter fruiting.I now have enough blueberry's to put a pot in the freezer.

The weather is due to change again just in time for the opening of the Olympic  games.I will  try to get the garden  in shape before then and get a little hand work ready to do in front of the T.V.
Sunday 5th August and I will be at Wayland Show.
