Just a few photos from Sundays fair.The weather was lovely, just a bit windy. Our pitch was quit close to the main ring,with our back to the wind.  Quit cosy.
As the weather was so good the Fair as well attended  and sales were much better than last week-end.

As I had a busy week with my daughter and family hear for a few day as well it is now time to do all the washing, ironing, gardening before my next visitors next craft fair and visitors next week.


No sewing for a few weeks but lots of outings.

Hoveton Hall Gardens

Just a few photos from yesterday at Hoveton Hall gardens as you can see we did have sunshine.
We have another early start so I will try and get some more sleep.

Packed ready for the week-end

                   I hope to come home after the week-end with a bit less.

                    We will have an early start leaving at about 7-30am.

                    The weather looks as if it will get better it is only 7deg to-day.

                           After some sorting out and finding fabric my creative side kicked in.

      Then I found fabric to make a  Stitch Witch  pattern .Lynette Harris has kindly give me written permission to sell any of her made up patterns. I still have to stitch around the leaves but have to get some matching thread.

 The gardens are wonderful at this time of year. Azaleas are just divine and perfume  !! well.

Getting my inspiration back

The weather had been getting better after the the very cold winter so I have been trying to catch up on the weeding.

I have also helped a few quilters put block together using Quilt-as-u-go and another make her first bag.

Next week I have another workshop using   Embroidery Stitches  to quilt.So I must get ready for that.

This is a dwarf apple tree my Daughter gave me , I do not think it will support all that fruit so I will have to do some thinning at the   June Drop.

Last weekend my Granddaughter was 2yr's old and I was invited to her party. This was all set up as she was having her nap.Both grandchildren were surprised as I had take TED with me.
TED is a Bear that has a lot of adventures hear in Norfolk but had never been to London on the Bus.

                                                      Just waiting for the party to start .

                                               Is there Honey sandwiches for tea .

I guess I had better star to sort out my sewing/computer room and get some work done , find that fabric I am looking for.

Busy making this week

Hoping  you all had a good week.

 I have managed to get some Baby hooded towels and appliquéd a dolphin on to the hood .Last week I appliquéd onto some baby bibs and sold them . I hope the towel's do as well next time.







 Next I found this dog fabric and put together two quick shoppers. The bag can go inside out and have the pockets on the inside, as I have used French seams. 

 Having gone through my stash I found some more  fabric and once in the mind for sewing I just had to get on with making more bags.I do have a three day Fair at the end of May  so  hopefully will need a lot of stock. The three have come up different shapes due to the  fabric I had, the 6 pockets on the outside can be very useful. One suggestion was as a craft bag .

 

                                                I now wait for the next inspiration.

                                                 Happy Crafting

 Well I have not been on holiday but looking after my Mother as she has been quit ill , with two spells in hospital. As she is now back to normal I will catch up.






                          Hear are two bag I have made for stock with a few good fairs coming in the summer.

I have had time to-day to get my grass cut as the weather has turned a corner.
There are signs of spring as there are now 16 frogs in my small pond.
The fish are now feeding and the Hedgehog has made it's return.
 

Now I have to get ready for our monthly Town Craft fair , putting up banners ,buying milk for the coffee and getting the table plan for the caretaker and picking up the key.
  We have two new stall holders this month as well as a free competition for children   ( thy are still on Holiday )
I will soon have to get going with designing and making some new bags. 

                   I am just going to enjoy the nice day, enjoy your's.

With a change in our weather thing in the garden have come on.I have not had time to sew as the ground is just right to do a bit of weeding.I have only spent the mornings out side as I can over do things and pay for it the next day.

When I was taking this by my pond I did spot a pair of frogs.

This was a day before in my front garden.


Just a bit of sunshine for you to enjoy, it just lifts the sprites.

Hand Quilting using Embroidery stichs

                                                 The start of a very inspiring day.

Margaret started the day showing us some of her work then in small groups she went through each stitch for us then to try.We were given work sheets with good, clear instructions to take home.

At times the room went very quiet as everyone concentrated on trying to get the stitches right.
We were a larger group than normal but by splitting us into smaller numbers Margaret could show us and this is some of the results.

We all had a good day and would like more.

I have been to Margaret's Twin needle work shop and found her to be an exultant teacher.





Now I must make time to put every thing I have learnt into practice.

Not enough hours in the day.
